SDGs in Order (2017)

SDGs in Order is the first-ever sequence for tackling the most important problems in the world by GreenHouse with New America and OECD. They asked 85 experts from around the world to prioritize the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (all 17 of them) in a sensible and actionable order.

The SDGs were ratified in 2015 by all 193 member states of the United Nations to guide global efforts to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. They serve as a 15-year roadmap for governments, foreign aid agencies, multilateral organizations, grassroots groups and others involved in international development.

My company, Foossa designed these graphics and website to bring the research results to life online. We wanted to simply and boldly evoke the depth of data and knowledge showcased in the project. As an independent research and thought-leadership project, we needed to give SDG in Order a distinct visual identity that referenced and evoked the United Nation's official SDG branding without copying or co-opting it.
