Over 5 days in July 2017, I travelled to Hamilton Island, Australia, where I explored the island on foot and by air, capturing the island before me with my camera.
From an environment so defined by its beautiful colours, this photo series aims to look further into the surreal landscape with a focus on shape and texture. Focusing on small moments and hidden treasures, this series shows the island as a decontextualised, anonymous tropical scene, free of reputation and expectation.
