WRO is a new concept regarding bike lanes in a city. It is also an attempt to solve a problem of lack of bike infrastructure in the area surrounding Centennial Hall and the ZOO in Wrocław. This area is a recreational center that every day brings together loads of people. Most of the incomers come by car what creates problems with parking spots and increases traffic jams. Project WROO was created with a though to make a completely new city attraction a bike safari.

The project respects historical urban planning that was founded at construction stage of Centennial Hall. WROO tries to reconstruct the historical axis: Pergola Centennial Hall ZOO. The whole bicycle path starts on top of the Pergola. Next it continuous to the building of the Centennial Hall and further on top of the over-street passages to the area of the zoo. Thanks to that, one can observe animals from a never before seen perspective. The path leads through points where the cyclist can see unique and interesting animals. At the run for okapi a semitransparent wall was introduced which becomes the more transparent the more you paddle on a stationary bike t o let one see the animals that can be skittish. To see the elephants, one have to use the t rampoline to get over the fence. Further, at the aviaries a cyclist can ride on a normal height of bírds’ flight and observe them while in the air. The path near the giraffes' run gets to the height where one can stand eye to eye with a giraffe and take a selfie with it. The whole path is being continued to the other side of the river Odra. Additional footbridges connect the causeway part of the city with its center. The sky path ends at a new marina which is located at the opposite side of the river to the zoo. It can serve both the

recreational water traffic as well as tourist that come from the city center by water trams.

WROO is not only a sky bike path that make it possible to observer animals from the top. It also solves communicational problems at different levels. First of all it shortens

routs allowing people coming from the causeway part through the new footbridges and over the zoo. Secondly, it significantly affects the amount of traffic making it possible to get to the area of the Centennial Hall and the ZOO by bike or by water trams thanks to the new marina.
