Hi there guys! A few month back I was comissioned by New Holland Agriculture to illustrate a front panel for their Brasil Agriculture Show, an annual event where big players in the agri business display their products. The idea was to depict an aerial view of New Holland's harvesting machines in a huge field harvesting crops and at the same time writing the machine's name on the ground. Since producing such an image with photographic assets would be pratically impossible, the solution I found was to team up with good 3D maker buddy Marcelo R Souza in order to create the scene using a mix of base 3D assets, an humongous amount of painting over and composition, and the aerial shots of the machines provided by the client. After 4 days of 18 hour long working hours, we managed to put together the 20K image you see down below. I can tell you this was quite a challenge. But as always, a fun one to accomplish.
