Morrigan. Illustration for Mythbook

Morrigan. The Great Queen, aka Phantom queen or Great Lady Raven - goddess of war in Irish mythology. But in my interpretation Morrigan is the war itself.
Strong, impassive and ineluctable.
Under her steps fates are crumbling and heroes are born. Behind her stretches a trail of fresh blood of the slain. She doesn't walk among the battlefields, she creates them. In one hand she keeps a clean sword. She doesn't need to kill, because people will always do that for her. In the other hand - her own bloody banner. Bacause Morrigan can choose her favorites, but she always will be the real winner. Because in the war there are no winners, except for the War.
