Touchscreen technology has become quite popular and currently equips basically all sort of electronic equipment, significantly improving the man/machine interface. In mid-2013, Quantum Design was contacted byAqua, a 10-year-old company that aimed to combine touchscreen technology and intuitive design bringing to us the challenge of design and develop its first totem. Aqua is a company specialized in developing applications to help companies to interact with their audiences in a differentiated, creative, and impactful way.
Since Aqua's core business had always been software and interface, the company has never developed its own totem and had been buying or renting third-party equipment, which was often not the most appropriate solution. As a result, the company was willing to have its own totem, a unique and versatile solution that it would be made by third parties and assembled in the house, having the perfect hardware for your applications. Thus emerged the partnership between Quantum Design and Aqua.
