This is a series of intimate portraits documenting the extremely camera-shy traders and artisans that show off their wares at one of the Maasai Market days in Nairobi, Kenya. Presentation is everything to these folk as they make use of vibrant colors and intricate arrangements that are sure to catch the eyes of passer-bys. Though they were mostly reluctant to getting their pictures taken, through conversation and sincere goodwill, I was able to convince them to let me into their lives one shot a time.
