One day while I was waiting to go to the dentist's office, I was talking to my sister in the waiting room, telling her about my work as a typographic designer for myfonts.com and my love for letters, so the conversation turned into drawing some typographic characters on a sheet of graph paper that I had at hand.
During this conversation, we randomly drew the characters of the alphabet while we discussed the shapes that were originating in each drawing and how they should look to combine.
The final result of the whole process is shown below:
