MORNING MELANCHOLY

The photography series "Morning Melancholy" displays absurdly lonely moments one can experience during the morning hours when barely no one is outside.
Each of the photographs shows human traces, whether it is the fingertip that is left on a dusty garage or the usually vibrant food shop, that is now closed. The feeling of human presence without actually seeing any human leaves the viewer with a rather sentimental emotion.
