Type design of Camuflage

Type Design Created by Florence Egea, vectorized and diagrammed by me, for semester completion work. Camuflage has as main objective to be a source with a lot of verticality, with fine and condensed features. The font had been created only in lowercase, being expanded to be a family for display fonts. The initial design came from "skeletons" of the letters drawn on paper with graphite, later the shapes were rounded out, the initial idea being the inspiration in the joints of the insect's legs, where suddenly a bulging in the vertical form occurs. These volumes were circular in the first drawing, but with the evolution of the source they became droplets to give a delicacy in the design of the source. The variation of heights between the sources is purposive to give a humor in the formation of the words, outlining the variety in the ecosystem and in the own insect in question.
