Tudo é tangente

"A exposição pode ser entendida aqui como um campo de tangências, com linhas que se trançam em múltiplos pontos de contato, mas que se mantêm em trajetórias independentes. "Tudo é tangente" foi uma coletiva realizada entre abril e maio de 2017, no Memorial Minas Gerais Vale, em Belo Horizonte. A exposição reuniu obras de onze artistas com diversas poéticas e linguagens. Para estabelecer uma relação com o título, a identidade visual se valeu do vocabulário gráfico da geometria, partindo de enunciados matemáticos e de abstrações formais.
"This exhibition can be understood as a field of tangencies, with lines interlaced in multiple contact points, but that still remain on independent trajectories. We are speaking about how things touch themselves in the world, of the infinite contact points between this or that, there and here, me and you" – Gabriela Carvalho and Luiz Lemos, the curators.
"Tudo é tangente" ("All is tangent", in Brazilian Portuguese) was an art exhibition released between April and May 2017, in Memorial Minas Gerais Vale – a cultural institution located in Belo Horizonte, southeast of Brazil. The show gathered pieces of eleven artists who work with different poetics and platforms. In order to establish a relation with the title, the visual identity was based on the graphic vocabulary of geometry, such as mathematical statements and formal abstractions.
