SSAB | Swedish Steel Prize
Unless you’re in the steel industry there’s no reason you would know about the annual Swedish Steel Prize by SSAB. But within the industry it’s known as the Nobel prize of steel.
In fact, on it’s launch in 1999 the prize was even presented by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
Every year comes with a new theme, and this year it brought us along on an 'Unexpected Journey of Innovation'.
Inside a restless mind
The main titles follows the mind of an innovator on the unexpected journey it takes as it forms an idea. After various iterations and stages of refinement, and much trial and error, the idea finally solidifies into a marvel of engineering worthy of the Steel Prize.
