Wandering (Seoul/South-Korea)
I've been invited to join Here and There in an exhibition in which the involved artists react and interact with the cityscape of Seoul. Normally I would do site-specific works like (wall)paintings or installations. For this instance 'Here and There' asked me to reverse that process; To make cut-out installation pieces and then to stroll around town to find different places to install these pieces to create various scenes. It proved to be a fun game to play in which common urban settings can be upgraded by a minimal intervention.
