Interviews and Profiles
As someone who grew up reading comic books, I've always loved a great origin story. Fortunately, real-life people don't need superpowers to make their own origin stories interesting.
One of my favorite things is talking to performers, business owners and everyday people about where their passions come from and why changing the world for the better is so darn important to them. I've been told that my casual, probing style is a relief from typical media interviews and also is why many people open up to me. I don't know about all of that -- I just approach each visit as an opportunity for meaningful conversation, and it seems to pan out well. And I'm not ashamed to say that I fall a smidge in love with each person I profile.
