From Californian heat to Canada. Up to the cooler Prince Rupert and on to Babine Lake
Visiting Vancouver Island fisher folk at Port Hardy, Alert Bay, Courtenay and Comox
Vancouver Island: visiting Highland Scots from Rassay, now settled in Tofino and Victoria
Travelling I saw deer, bears, whales & otters. And nothing as gentle as this humming bird
Sailing at sunset around Gabriola Island before returning to Vancouver and Scotland
Back to Scotland, the summer now past but Autumn's colours as vividly welcome as ever
Returning to Fisherrow where my granda' & great-granda fished & were Harbour Masters
People & Songs of the Sea - the journey it has taken me on has been longer than the miles
And, the highlight of my 2012 travels? Filming near to Port McNeil from my friend's boat, with the realisation that the dream of my Canadian project was now nearing completion.
