Birthday Invite Design

A simple birthday invitation with the only requirement to include an element of pink.
I wanted it to immediately grab your attention as you opened the envelope and so I decided on a delicate calligraphy font called "Antrokas"
in a bold black, which actually takes up nearly half of the invitation itself.
As a contrast to the over-flowing large title, I made sure the typeface for the rest of the information was kept really simple and
easy to read to juxtapose the busyness of the illustration.
The client is a massive fan of champagne, more specifically Veuve Cliquot, and with it being a big celebratory birthday I thought a
popping bottle illustration would fit really well. Adjusting the colour to a vibrant, summery pink really brought it to life in the end.
The addition of the small polaroid image of the birthday girl just adds a personal touch and makes it a fun keep-sake for family
and friends. She's had one framed for her bedroom wall. A fun project overall.
