This is a work-in-progress for Golodny CPA, an accounting firm located in midtown Manhattan. After several years of using the same logo, they sought me out for a brand refresh. Below is the second revision of two selected directions.
Direction 1
The mark in this direction plays on the idea of the letter 'G' representing both a shield and a stylized hand holding a calculator. Together, they communicate a sense of authority in the field of accounting. This direction makes use of the existing brands red in a bold way to highlight the firms confidence in its ability to provide value to its customers.
Direction 2
The mark in this direction is a stylized circular bar-graph, pointing to its center point to highlight the shape of the letter 'G' for Golodny CPA. This direction plays down the red for a lighter feel.
