'I'm a Creepy Crawly' is a flash animated TV series I designed and directed for Monster Entertainment. I art directed and designed the look of the series at the pilot stage and was the character designer on all 52 episodes. As director I created the series bible outlining the episode format for the scripts, animation and art style. Over the course of the production I oversaw the character design, script editing, storyboards, animatics, animation direction, voice recordings, art direction and compositing. The series has screened all over the world on Discovery Asia, ABC Australia, DR Denmark, TVO Canada, RTE Ireland, YLE Finland and Tiny Pop in the UK. 

As director, my role on the show started with developing the pilot episodes, which involved the creation of a 'bible' that could be used to pitch the premise to broadcasters. This 'bible' also provided the production framework, design philosophy and story structures for the show. While my role on the production ranged from script reviews all the way through to post production, my initial design task involved the creation of 52 insect characters, one for each episode. Insects are not exactly the cutest or easiest creatures to design but I tried my best to make them appealing and still a little bit creepy.
