San Francisco Education Fund
Logo Redesign, Web Design & Development

Objective:
We were tasked with a logo and website redesign for San Francisco Education Fund (SFED Fund), a nonprofit organization that provides public school students with the tools to succeed inside and outside the classroom.

Challenge:
The website was extremely content-heavy and in desperate need of a new organization system. It was visually outdated and needed a refresh in order to become more attractive to a new audience that included a younger generation than the current audience. The new site also needed to have Wordpress functionality.

Solution:
We started at the bottom with research, mood boards and a logo redesign. We updated the existing color palette to be more vibrant and changed up the lettering in the logo to be fresher and more well-rounded.  For the site, we reviewed every page for consistencies and inconsistencies in order to come up with a new information architecture (IA) that made sense. We chatted with the client about the audience and the main actions they wanted their users to do when they visited the site. We created wireframes based on the new and concise IA as well as the main call to actions, taking care to make sure everything was in it's right place. We designed, revised, and developed the site — ending with integration into Wordpress.
