In a group of three, our task was "to find a visual, memorable, and coherent way to make people aware of the resources and advice available to help set out what matters to them and in their future healthcare and treatment." Most importantly, it was about education and awareness.
Advance Care Planning (ACP) a way to help you think about, talk about and share your thoughts and wishes for future health care and treatment. It’s a process of discussion and shared planning for future health care and gives people the opportunity to develop and express their preferences based on their values, hopes and goals, a better understanding of their current and likely future health and the treatment and care options available.
We felt that these posters were not emotional or impactful enough.
They lacked emotion and weren't effective enough in getting the message across.
So, our vision was to create portrait style photographs depicting everyday people in their environment, combined with an emotional quote regarding ACP and directing the audience towards more information about it.
