This project was done for history of modern design class. Assignment was to create a design based on the principles of any historical movement, designer, or idea covered in the course. I chose to represent Bauhaus' design principle through my typeface design. The Bauhaus designers created designs that were aesthetically pleasing and functional. I wanted to capture the logical aspect of the era and decided to create a typeface that was horizontally and vertically monospaced. Through usage of grid, typeface achieved balanced uniform aesthetic that can be applied in variety of design with ease.
