DYEING TECHNIQUES-CREATING PATTERNS
RESIST DYE/FLOUR DYE-
Thick paste is made using wheat flour and corn flour mixed with fevicol and applied to the made pattern(both side of fabric), after getting it dry, dipped into dye colors.

Technique-Tying on a plastic jar.
The fabric is folded into 2 halves and then we start wrapping the fabric diagonally onto that plastic jar and finally we tie that tightly with thread and dip into dye, skew all fabric on other side.

Technique-Tying on a Rod.
The fabric is wrapped diagonally onto a rod and then tied with a thread and finally dipped into dye color.

Wax is applied to the cloth before being dipped into dye.Wherever the wax has seeped through the fabric, the dye will not penetrate inside that area.

Cloth is manipulated by tying and stitching it, after stitching all the desired area, thread strands are pulled tightly and then dipped into dye.
