HG Esch was asked to produce a film to show the new building of the Kunsthalle Mannheim. Since the building was still under construction they searched a way to show the concept of the building.
I joined the project and started developing a way to visualize the museum’s concept city in the city with HG Esch. The idea was to show movement in the city as red streaks and mirror them as red abstract humans in the museum.
The 3d rendered parts and the tracking of the drone footage were produced by Martin Pajak and me. We received a 3ds Max model of the building by the architects. The model was cleaned and then lit and shaded in Cinema4d and Octane.Client: Kunsthalle Mannheim
