Emergence by Steven Johnson is an essay about slime mould and the way it can make its way through a maze. This programme , powered by the magic of interaction, allows the user to not only read through the text (sort of) but also experience the concepts within the essay in real time. 

Extreme care has been taken to make the interactions as intuitive as possible, making the user’s experience completely seamless. Such things as, underlining text that is interactive gives the user clues from existing interactions, so they know how and when to act.
