Synopsis
Venture is an anxious typeface inspired by ink and tints. Designed to capture attention with its unique stroke that ends like that of a half-dried brush. The characteristic of the typeface is anxiety, with a little bit of natural messiness. The reason for creating this typeface is because I feel that most things around us are more digitalized and systematic nowadays. This typeface is created to be out of the rule, beyond control and limits.
The uniqueness of this typeface is that each alphabet ends with an extremely long and sharp half-dried brush stroke, giving a sense of anxiety. As design students, we need to jump out of our comfort zone to experience new things and venture into new territories of uncertainty. In this process of adventure and creativity, we would experience a feeling of anxiety, in expectation of unknown results beyond our imagination.
