Fall 2015 | Aquatint Etching

I instantly fell in love with printmaking and the printmaking process. I often snapped photos of my work and the workspace throughout the print making process. I was fascinated by the environment, the image reflection, and the relationship between the sketch, plate, and print. I have pieced together some snapshots to show the documentation of the process work that went into creating my first aquatint etching.

Process order: sketch and plate, etched plate, print of etching, aquatint print and plate on press, and final print.
