The photographs bring awareness to this almost dream-like state that we are put in by the techniques of advertisement in these lifeless shopping centers.
This mundane shopping center, which is overlooked as a service provider or a place to socialize is portrayed in a completely different light. I made the shopping center itself the focus, without any distractions of people or services. Through doing this, the shopping center is now portrayed as an uninviting, dark and fake environment. One can more clearly see the advertisement and bright neon colors used to trick people into being drawn in.
