Type Design
Lament was designed by Freda Lewko initially with the sole purpose of teaching herself type design, but turned into a well-rounded, characteristic brush script. Designed with a brush pen on paper, hand-traced with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator, and output through FontForge, Lament now serves as a casual script font perfect for anything that requires a friendly or informal look.

FUN FACT
The name “Lament” comes from an Ultravox song which Freda passionately overplayed during the time this font was created.
