Four traditional gouache illustrations created for a group exhibition titled 'The Fear' that was held at Slee Gallery, Stellenbosch from 3 July - July 2017
This unique exhibition aimed to speak at anyone who has dealt with the way that fear can paralyse you. 'The Fear' is an examination and confrontation of various fears, being that of rational or irrational nature. My works feature a vague dread of some evil force or circumstance, explored through some irrational childhood fears of mine, such as: aliens; ghosts; being set on fire and a shark lurking in the dark depths of the swimming pool.
