This complex isometric illustration was commissioned by California Academy of Sciences to use as a way to promote their Nightlife program. I worked with Ron Foth Advertising and the CAS design team to create a fun image that exemplifies the spirit of the museum and the event. Nightlife at CAS happens every Thursday night, and is a unique way to experience the museum for anybody that loves learning, science, and is over 21. The event features drinks, food, live music, djs, special workshops, and lectures. The illustration shows a stylized cross-section of the academy building with whimsical anthropomorphized creatures that are part of the exhibits at the academy. The illustration appeared printed as posters, full-page print advertising in San Francisco Magazine and SF Weekly, and online in social media and on the CAS website.
