Glipper® started as a parody and at the same time homage to streetwear culture especifically taking reference from high end brands like Supreme®. Taking it to our concept line of work We decided upon making a rendition of the famous box logo t-shirt with a little 'twist'.
Our rendition of the Supreme® Box Logo t-shirt explores a image coded message rather than delivering a explicit shouting word.
As a complement and therefore part of our parody or exclamation point is that most of the high end brand items range from prices to $60 to $150 per t-shirt that's not taking on account the probable re-sell value of each box logo t-shirt That ranges up to $500. So for us is ridiculous thing to pay that amount of money for a low quality t-shirt with just a box logo printed on the front. So we decided to get a huge back print design that seals the deal on our t-shirt.
And now the fun part taking our artwork and transfer it to a t-shirt. Using Water Based ink to create the effect of overlaying colors.
