The images below are from a UX project development for a Smoothie King Customer Facing Ordering ios mobile app. The images serve to illustrate my UX process. This project began with the identification of a gap in the Smoothie King ios app and a solution to the gap. I worked on this project with 2 other team members. Our process consisted of identification of a need, product research, user research, design and usability testing.

Below are examples of initial wireframes for the project. These continued to evolve as the project progressed and we identified other requirements and we revised workflows to better match the users' needs. For example, navigation was added and improved and the location bar was moved to the top of the screen to be more prominent.

Our wire frames progressed to color comps. We used our color comps to create prototypes and scenarios for usability testing of our product.

We tested our design with Baseline Usability Study (fixed design) using scenarios and tasks. Our findings showed several issues.

Too much red throughout the app (MAJOR)
Unsure on what enhancers are/which are available/the cost of adding enhancers (MAJOR)
Add Rewards screen was difficult to understand (i.e. points system) (MAJOR)
User was unclear on function of “Add Rewards” button (Minor)
Wasn’t sure what the favorites button was (changed the heart to star) (Minor)
