CRAYOLA | Restructuring for Today
In 2011 Big Spaceship was tapped to work with Crayola to move their well trafficked Crayola.com into the modern era.  

Despite being the maker of some very "analog" products Crayola is actually a very progressive brand that has embraced technology.  Their goal is to offer a total customer experience that starts at retail and moves into a digital environment, and back again.

One of the needs to pull the vision together was a complete overhaul of Crayola.com, to make it a content engine and regionally-capable platform.

Given the modularity of the selected CMS platform it forces us to completely rethink the UX documentation process and our content strategy methodology. A tremendously collaborative project turned into a work of art that is rooted in Crayola's equity - color.
