I approached the president of the University of Brighton Mantell Geological Society, to ask whether they would allow me to redesign their logo, in order to build my portfolio. Kindly, they agreed and below you can see their original design (purple strip), along with some of the design ideas I approached them with. Once they had chosen a design, I then coloured and submitted for their approval. The final logo can be seen above.
