(Book) Illustration of an accurately described character
The tale is, as aforementioned, about a very ugly emperor, who is situated on the peak of the statistical graphs concerning intelligence, policy and ugliness (a very lonely life to imagine, up there). His servants are mostly busy with wiping his mouth, because on the top of everything he is salivating while talking and drivelling when quiet.
The kind of illustration was arbitrarily selected.
Due to clarity and being rich in contrast to the era the text refers to vector graphics were chosen.
