Rendering Styles
Meet Victor - he's a sweet but shy monster who graciously volunteered to help me illustrate the many ways in which I render my work. Whether I'm working traditionally or digitally, I am sure to work in a variety of styles to suit whatever needs the project requires.
Victor rendered traditionally using a pencil sketch and 02 micron pens for ink.
Victor rendered using the above linework, with undershadows in fluid acrylics and colors in watercolor.
A black and white version of Victor, using halftones for shading. He was created to be used for screen printing and vinyl decals.
Digitally lined and colored on a tablet with basic flat shadows. A very "toon" look.
Fully shaded and rendered digitally.
