I am getting married to the love of my life this September in Italy. When it came time to creating a wedding system, as a designer, I have been both excited about and terrified of this day. How can I create something that is perfect? A system that is right for us and our event, yet unique to wedding design?
We decided that ultimately the most important thing to us is spending real time with some of our favorite people in a special, off-the-map place. An adventure. So, I painted illustrations that represent moments of the event and brought them to life in our wedding website.

The illustration style was out of my comfort zone. But the stylized, out-of-proportion figures fit well with the casual, laid-back vibe of southern Italy and the rustic, 1700s-era venue. The palette is unified across over a dozen illustrations and will be reflected at the wedding in floral arrangements and additional print pieces.
