"The Old Mill" Digital Landscape painting/ photo bash
A progress breakdown of a Digital Landscape. I used non-copyrighted photographic elements from flickr Commons, and used Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation including: masking, background removal, burn and dodge, repainting elements, color correction, layer adjustments (levels, curves, saturation, brightness, etc.), and compositing of the layers. A 3D waterwheel was added which I created in 3ds Max, with a combination of handpainted and photo manipulated texture maps. It was composited and given a multiplane camera motion in After Efects
