For this project, I decided to use real materials to create postcards to portray the meaning of Maya Angelous' poem "Caged Bird", instead of using the computer. The poem contrasts a free bird to a caged bird, and so through color I wanted to portray this. By using wire to emulate a cage, I was also able to show the free bird compared to the caged bird.
