My thesis is an exploration of the similarities between The Hero’s Journey and the Design Process. My Capstone Project is a combination of a website that walks you through the two structures, indicating the similarities between them, and a series of videos. The Three part documentary style videos walk you through conversations with 7 people from different creative fields about their creative process, about their ideas on The Hero’s Journey, and their thoughts on this new lens to view their creative process through. The Videos are broken down into a 3 part series - Departure, Initiation and Return, and you can also dive deeper into each conversation by watching individual interviews.
