A campaign we retouched many moons ago for Nike to launch a French National Football Team kit. The players are Florent Malouda and bright prospect Gael Kakuta (who went on to represent DR Congo at senior level). The photography consisted of the real players with small amounts of blue paint, as well as many shots of body doubles and mannequins to whom the paint could be more liberally applied. The painstaking process involved selecting and compositing the many elements together and removing parts of the body to give a spontaneous, supernatural hollow appearance.
