macro & tele Nature
I always looked with so much envy those guys who were filming docs for National Geographic or Discovery channel when I was a kid and i still do!!! So this is my mere attempt to get noticed
Dendrobates pumillo,  well know as "dart frog" is very common in central and south America, within tropical areas. The shiny colors are a signal for predators to say "I'm dangerous". This species is about 1-2 cm long (0.4 - 0.8 inches).

This shot was taken with a 12mm extension tube on a Canon 350d @ 70mm with 4.5 aperture and 1/200 shutter speed (ISO 200)
Atta sp.  or leafcutter ant, even if here they are carrying flowers! Quite strong the guys!

Shot in Costa Rica, EOS 350d @ 64mm with 40mm extension tubes, 1/200, 4.5 (ISO 200)
Alouatta palliata,  well known as howler monkey for its powerful shout (just males individuals can shout to be heard about 5 miles away) This male is quite young anyway and he was leaping the canopy while I freezed him in this shot. Costa Rica, Cariari, La Suerte Biological Station.

EOS 350d, 210mm, F 4, 1/1250 (ISO 200)
