Bedside table designed by Negro Impar studio for MADE
Portobello was selected by MADE through the Emerging Talent Award '15 launched in collaboration with Desall.com. MADE relied on the international Community of Desall to research new furniture designs to realise and sell through their e-commerce. The scope of their research included home textiles, lighting, furniture, upholstery and other product typologies already featured in the store, leaving great freedom for the designers also in the choice of materials to employ.

Portobello, designed by the Spanish design studio Negro Impar (Alvaro Alvarez and Maria Lopez) is a bedside table realised in ash veneer and natural finish. The structure is made of copper plated iron. It was selected by MADE in a short-list of projects, out of more than 1070 entries received from around the world.
