I was recently hired by The Brand Pillars, a staffing agency in the DFW area, to photograph their launch party during SXSW in Austin. The Brand Pillars bridges clients needing help to build their brands with talented ambassadors & representatives that represent the brand's personality. Either talent or agency/brand can use TBP services. 

The night consisted of some great people, a few drinks, and a lot of connections. I find it beneficial to take jobs like this from time to time, outside of my normal comforts. It pushes me to be a better photographer and it also allows me to be in places with people I normally wouldn't be on me own. I like the expansion and finding new grooves in my art to explore. The added bonus is when you are surrounded by great people, it makes these jobs breezy and fun.

I spent the evening hanging out with guests making photographs through candid moments, portraits, and environment. Overall the event went well and my client was pleased with these results. A bit of a veer from my usual portfolio pieces, I just feel it is important to show the array of skills and projects I take on.
