Environmental issues are central to the mission of this New York-based foundation. For the foundation’s Manhattan Meatpacking District office, our design underscores those values. For the raw, full-floor space, we created an office of collaborative work stations and private rooms, with natural light flooding the expansive volume to create a connection to the world outside and enhance life and work within.
Custom workstations encourage communication within the open, airy office space. Living plant systems convey the company’s deep commitment to the environment. Polished concrete floors and floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views of the city—including the High Line, whose prominent framing further speaks to the coexistence of urban life and lush nature—and bring a sense of refined professionalism throughout.
