Street ads in Petah Tiqwa

Street ads in Petah Tikva
This work follows nine handwritten street ads, offering them a life beyond the moment on the electric pole or tree in the street. The work is a process of rewriting the ads, time after time, and providing a personal interpretation of them, kind of conversation with those who stand behind them.

As a first step I copied the ads in three copies.
As a second step I created two different versions from the original ad, in technique, type and format. This interpretaions I created from an emotion that was awoken in me after the ad was copied.
As a third step, I created three copies of one of the interpretations, and at the last step I created another interpretation that is different from the original.

The work presents a process of observation and translation into my personal interpretation,
and it's presented as a case file of the entire process.
The evidence file as itself is an actual copy of evidence files.

School project for Seminar Hakibutzim,2014.
