What is "SkyFix"?
SkyFix is a repair and maintenance center for Drones and UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles).
So why the title "SkyFix"?
Well, it's simple. Drones fly in the Sky and this is a repair center, thus the use of the word "fix". We simply condensed "we repair drones / uav's so you can get it back in the sky".
It's an aerial unit so the word "Sky" was a no brainer.
In summary: The title is short, simple and memorable.
It became clear that the logo / icon for this brand would be greatly influenced by the type of company that it is. I wanted something that would represent the brand but would tell the story of the company, and thus be a summary but also recognizable. Because this is a repair center, I really wanted to explore variations of logos that would include a "fixing" or "repair" type essence. The drone / UAV would also be at the core of the branding.
The final logo as you will see at the bottom, carries both the silhouette of the drone itself and the element of "repairs".

Out of the drafts and samples above, I chose to rework D1 along with another new sample. Below you'll see some of the icon and logo explorations.
The logo would need to be bold and iconic. We used the colour blue due to "Sky" and also because it's associated with trust.

Final Logo:
After a few other colour and font explorations, this was chosen as the final logo. The pixelation side of the logo signifies a drone breaking or the parts coming back together, thus the "repair" essence of the company. The drone silhouette itself is self explanatory.
