This is an ongoing personal project of mine that started as my final assignment for my color photography class. I wanted to document one place that has always fascinated me as a child. This is an abandoned hospital. The project started to be more of a documentary style in which I would show all different types of items that were left. However when in the process of viewing the photos from the beginning the photographs of the chairs had more impact on the viewer and myself than what I had intended to do.
My dream is to travel the U.S. and extended this personal project and to go to different abandoned hospitals.
