Project. The Queens West Development Corporation RFP call for a design and financing proposal for eleven buildings totaling 3,400 units and 2,000 parking spaces in underground garages when completed. Our proposal consolidated the number of buildings down to seven, allowing a large increase in open space and community services, a larger proportion of units with water views, and an enhanced retail experience.
History. Time Equities, Inc. with FXFowle Architects responded to a Request For Proposals (RFP) from the Queens West Development Corporation. Dr. Erikson oversaw the design team for during the proposal process. This proposal led a wide field of excellent entries in the first round, but after publication of its entry lost to a new entry by Rockrose Development and Arquitectonica Architects in the final round.
