Grid is a side table born from a challenge:
‘Create a functional object using every inch of 24ft of steel square tubing’.
The body of the side table is made up of 4 pillars that hold up the grid created with 1-inch pieces of the square tubing;
which accentuates the amount of steel used. At the top, the pillars protrude from the rest of the body to create
a type of mortise and tenon joint with the Mahogany top, in order for it to stay in place.
